PAL Express, formerly Air Philippines and Airphil Express, is an airline operating under the business name of Air Philippines Corporation. 

The airline has been rebranded initially as Air Philippines, then as AirPhil Express and now known as PAL Express. Air Philippines ceased operations until Philippine Airlines invested in the airline and was then re-launched as PAL Express.

PAL Express operates domestic and international flights to from Philippines to Malaysia, China, Hong Kong and United Arab Emirates. Also the airline operates flights from Manila, Cebu, Davao City and Zamboanga.

Philippine Airlines is founded by a group of businessmen led by Andres Soriano, one of the country’s leading industrialists.

  • Pillow, blanket and amenity kit provided on long haul flights
  • Baggage allowance of no less than 30kg but varies with flight and ticket purchased

AirAsia offers the lowest fares online to over 120 destinations across Asia with numerous flight frequencies a day.

It is a Malaysian low-cost airline headquartered near Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is the largest airline in Malaysia by fleet size and destinations. In the Philippines, the airport is located at NAIA, Pasay City, Metro Manila.

They also offer car rentals, cargo, credit card, and travel protection. Just like Cebu Pacific, their website contains of numerous navigations to make searching easier for aspiring customers. Promos are also endorsed in their online page.

  • Seat pitch of 31 to 32 inch with standard recline; pre-selection of preferred seat available for a fee; no children under 12 years permitted in quiet zone at rows 7 to 14 and these seats can be reserved for additional fee. Extra seat in each row making it 9 a breast seating. Seats are narrow
  • Comfort Kits with blanket, inflatable pillow and eye mask can be purchased on board
  • Baggage allowance unrestricted but must be paid for
  • No forwarding of baggage from one sector to another so passengers must allow enough time between flights to collect bags and re check in for next flight via immigration if arriving on international sector; Fly Thru ticket available for purchase allows passengers arriving at Kuala Lumpur to bypass immigration and transfer checked baggage to final destination
